OUR CANDLES

Why Coconut Soy wax?
All of our candles are hand poured using coconut soy wax. Our virgin coconut soy wax blend enables us to greatly enhance our candles aesthetic, while providing a product to our customers that is clean burning, bio-degradable and natural. The wax comes from a renewable source, is vegan and non-toxic. Our wax is a blend between soy, coconut and traces of food-grade paraffin for added stability.
 
Why wood wicks? 
Everyone has a great cotton wick candle that gracefully lights up the room, but have you ever had a wood wick candle that you can smell, see and HEAR?! This is one of the benefits from a wood wick candle! Our candles are made with crackle booster wicks, meaning that wood burning crackling sound everyone loves is able to be heard right from your candle. Wooden wicks are also more sustainable than cotton wicks, and burn more evenly too. Wood wicks will also give off minimal soot when burning. Combine these benefits to our benefits of the coconut soy wax and we have ourselves a safe, clean candle we can feel good about burning in our homes!
 
Where are our candles made?
All of our candles and products are handmade right here in Regina, Saskatchewan! 
 
What types of fragrance oil do you use? 
Candles are a science to make! Each individual scent is either one single fragrance oil, or a custom blend created by us! Our formulas are vigorously tested to create a great smelling candle, so you just need to worry about enjoying the product and we will take care of the science behind creating it! Our fragrance oils are sourced from all over North America to create our signature line of candle scents, and we love to support other small business owners in the candle community whenever possible.
 

CANDLE CARE

Why is it important to trim the wick before every burn? 
Trimming the wick allows the flame to have a clearer and brighter burn. Keeping wicks shorter also means your candles will have a cleaner burn, as it will prevent carbon buildup on the wick which is what causes sooting. It is crucial on a wooden wick candle to always trim the wick to 1/8" before every burn, to ensure your candle continues to burn safely and longer. Investing in some wick trimmers are a must-have for every candle lover and if you need a gift idea, gifting a candle with wick trimmers makes a cute package!
 
How long should I burn my candle for?
For the first burn, we highly recommend minimum of 2 hours or until the melted wax reaches all edges of the jar. We recommend only burning your candle for a maximum of 4 hours at a time, with a cool down period of 2 hours before the next lighting. Burning candles any longer than this may create additional sooting. We want you to be able to enjoy your candle for as long as possible, so this time frame also extends the life of your candle!

Processing times vary however our goal is to have all orders shipped and on their way to you within 2-3 business days after purchase.

All North American orders will be provided with tracking information. 
Once your order has shipped, it is now in the hands of the post office to deliver your package within the time frame provided. While we do our best to meet these guidelines, they are not guaranteed and we are not liable or responsible for any delays, re-routes or failed deliveries by the postal service. 
 
However, we always want to make sure you receive your order so please contact me at info@theccyqr.com if you ever have any concerns with the status of your order. 
 
Customs and Import Taxes
Customers are solely responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply when the package arrives in the destination country. theCCYQR will not be responsible for delays or import charges due to customs.

 

RETURN/REFUND POLICY

At this time, theCCyqr does not accept any returns or refunds on our products. However, we strive to provide our customers with quality products and if you are ever unsatisfied with your purchase, or you received a defective product, please reach out to us at info@theccyqr.com and we will be happy to assist you promptly!
